Configuration loss

It seems I see the beginning of a potential growing problem with old FieldPoint modules.
On some few occations, when I have entered into the configuration of the module in MAX,
I get a message that the modules internal configuration does not match whats in the IAK file.
It seems the module has somehow forgotten what I have set it to, and gone back to its default config
or similar. Anybody else seen this behaviour ? Any tips about minimizing this problem, except
checking the config at regular interval ?

On these projects, I'm talking LabVIEW 6.1
