I have not seen anything posted about needing to re-image the CRio for use with the new LavView 2013 software. Will the 2012 image work this years software?

Yes, you need to reimage your cRIO for FRC 2013.  The latest image is v47.

Ya, you just noly change it into 2013, and the image sdk can work well.
