Overview

 Demonstrates how to use the Vision Assistant Express VI to accomplish several vision processing steps including pattern match, build coordinate system, and clamp.

Description

This example loads a template image that is matched in each new image to locate the new coordinate system. The example repositions measurement areas in the image according to the location of the coordinate system found. The example performs a distance measurement between two edges of the part inspected by using a clamp. The example then performs a diameter measurement using a circular edge finder. 

Hardware and Software Requirements

LabVIEW 2014 or compatible

Vision Development Module 2014 or compatible

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

1. Download the zip file and extract the files in a known location, or find the example by going to Help >> Find Examples >> Toolkits and Modules >> Vision >> Vision Assistant Express VI, and open the Battery Clamp Inspection (Express).vi
2. Run the Battery Clamp Inspection (Express).vi
