Synchronized Analog Output Loopback to Analog Input Using LabVIEW with DAQmx

Overview

This VI outputs a waveform on an analog output channel and bring the signal back into an analog input channel.

 
Description

Please note that this requires a physical wire connection between the AO and AI channels, and the user must specify the correct device in the VI.  Also, you must specify the sample clock source of the analog input to be the AO sample clock form the same device, along with having the same rate and number of samples per channel.

• LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)

Hardware

• DAQ device with AO and AI channels.

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

1. Connect AO and AI channels with a physical wire.
2. Run the VI, see the synchronized signal waveform in the front panel.
