Overview
This code shows how to write to a control found on another VI. 


Description
In order to use this example create a VI with a string control named Serial Number and save it on your machine. Then open the VI attached and on the front panel choose the VI path you previously created. 


Requirements

  • LabVIEW 2012 (or compatible)


Steps to Implement or Execute Code

  1. Download the attached file to your computer
  2. Open the VI "Updating A Control on A VI from Another VI 2012 NIVerified.vi"
  3. Run the program
