Overview
This example program demonstrates how to programmatically reset a counter using NI-DAQmx, after a specified amount of time (in milliseconds).
Description:
This VI would show you how to programmatically reset the counter. When the specified amount of time has elapsed, we write the current count along with the timestamp (from the system clock) to a file using the ASCII File I/O VIs.This is done by benefiting the nature of the data flow programming and combination of the DAQmx functions and File I/O functions
Steps to Implement or Execute Code:
To implement this example:
- Choose the channel for the counter
- (Optional) Set the rest of the parameters as needed
- Run the VI
- (Optional) Turn on the Highlight Execution to see the flow of the VI
To execute this example:
- Install the required software.
- Connect the DAQ hardware that supports the Counter features
- Confirm the connection with the MAX with TestPanel
- Open the VI and refer the Implement Steps
