Pre- and Post-Trigger Saving to Disk

This example is useful for applications that require saving images that occur around an event (trigger). It allows you to specify the number of pre- and post-trigger images to save to disk.

Note: The total number of pre- and post-trigger buffers is limited by the amount of RAM on your system. Additionally, by default, the maximum number of buffers allowed by NI-IMAQ is 50. To change this number, open Measurement & Automation Explorer and select Tools>>IMAQ>>Max Number of Buffers.
