Overview

This example shows how to use data dashboard by using variables to communicate

 

Description

This example is based on LabVIEW variables to build communication between Host PC and data dashboard on ipad. 

 

Requirements

  • LabVIEW（2012 or compatible）

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

On PC:

  1. Open the attached LabVIEW Project.
  2. Build the web service by right-clicking the Build Specifications and then selecting Build All.
  3. Deploy Web Services by right-clicking on the Earthquake Web Service and then selecting Deploy

On iPad:

  1.  (Optional) Use the Retargeter Application to update the dashboard's server location
  2.  Open the dashboard.
  3.  Update variables if Step 1 was skipped.
  4. Run the application.
  5. Scroll right to view a map view
  6.  Scroll right again to view a list of the strongest earthquakes by event ID.
