Generally when a monitor is connected to an RT PXI it only displays system information like CPU and memory usage. But if you have the Vision Development Module installed, you have access to the IMAQ RT Video Out VI. This VI allows you to output an image to though your PXI's monitor port.
The following project implements a simple VI that will cycle through images that are saved to your PXI. To run this you first need to FTP the JPEG images contained in the zip folder onto your PXI. You need to place these in the C:/ni-rt/ folder. Also, you must make sure that you have NI Vision RT installed on the target. Once you have done this you can run the VI under the target using front panel communications.
