Artificial Horizon with LabVIEW

Overview
To demonstrate how to make artificial horizon with LabVIEW

Description:
This example code uses 3D picture controls to build up an artificial Horizon. Four items are created; a base image to work from, a rotating drum, a viewing glass, and a rotating compass dial. These items are manipulated depending on the values passed in to the relevant controls. By enabling the camera fixed position switch you can force the location of the camera, and block a user from interacting with the 3D objects.

Instructions:

To implement this example:

  1. Run VI
  2. Adjust the pitch, roll, and heading to play with it.

To execute this example:

Comments
Hi - With reference to the above artificial horizon application , we want to add the arrow mark that needs to points the heading value. If we create the arrow mark in .jpg / .stl file and when we add the same into the above horizon 3d object, the inner roll and pitch image has vanished. We couldn't able to add the more pictures into that as per our customized requirement. It would be very great , if you can guide us to accomplish this task. Please do the needful.
