Convert DAQ data into text

i want to convert the data that DAQ card receives into a format and feed it to some other simulation software. Can i do it. This should happen in real time. Say i m controlling a simulated robot arm through a real actuator. The actuator signal is passed from the DAQ card in some format as XML or text tot the simulation software. i would appreciate any suggestion or comments.

You can use the waveform write to spreadsheet VIs in LabVIEW 6.1 as an easily programmed solution. There are also XML export VIs at: Use the XML VIs and functions located on the Functions»Advanced»Data Manipulation»XML palette to manipulate LabVIEW data in XML format.

Try these two approaches to see if they meet your requirements.
