Setting Power-Up States for PFI/DIO on MSeries Boards

Hi --

I have a custom DDK-based driver that controls M-Series boards. I need to set the power-up states for some of the digital bits. I see that it is possible to do this via DaqMX, but that is not an option for me. Does anyone have some sample code or EEProm addresses that would help me accomplish this task in my driver?

thanks,

Hi Scott-

Do you mean that you'd like to apply the existing powerup states to the lines when your PC powers up, or that you would like a method to store new powerup states info into the the device EEPROM through the driver you're developing?

Hi Scott-

One more question as I continue to investigate- which M Series boards does your driver support or will you plan to support this feature for?  Your assumption that they are identical is most likely valid, but I want to make sure there aren't any subtle differences to take into account.

Thanks-

6251 and 6221, for now.

Actually, PCI-6221 (running on PowerPC macs) and PCIe-6251 (on Intel-based macs with PCI Express bus). Although I assume that the bus type doesn't matter in regard to the question at hand.

Tom W. --

From an earlier post, you mentioned you were investigating this matter. Are you still?

Thanks,
