error 85 in Scan from String

Hello,

I do use a Scan From String function that is working fine with my old PC. I do change the PC and re-install LV 7.1.

This time with my new PC (Windows XP), I get an error 85 (scan failed) on the same Scan From String.

My assumption is that my new PC is differently configured but I am not able to solve the issue.

I have found the problem by configuring my PC:

Setting --> Control panel --> regional options --> numbers

change comma to point
