Start a finite acquisition, and read the buffer after 5 or 10 iterations

Hello,

I need help with a DAQ device (4474).

I want to start a finite acquisition (256 samples@44KHz) every time I have a rising edge of an external trigger. The problem is that my buffer is too small for a too high frequency of this external trigger.

So, I want to be able to read my buffer after 5 rising edge of the trigger (for exemple). So, I will read 256 * 5 = 1280 Samples.

Any suggestions on how to code that thing with DAQ ?

Hello,

I don't really understand your problem because a solution for you is to increase the size of your buffer. Are you limited in your buffer size?

I would like to know what are the specifications of your external trigger (speed etc...).

Do you want to read 1280 samples each five rising edges of your trigger or 256 samples after five rising edges?
