How to perform a multipoint calibration?

Does anyone have information on how to perform a multipoint calibration?   A two-point calibratoin is easy where the offset is determined at zero and the gain is determined at full capacity.  However, how do I approach the calibration process using vi's to perform a multipoint (i.e. 10 points) calibration?  Are there any vi examples?  I'm using LV8.5

Hi dj143,

Assuming that you are calibrating thermocouples, you can use the example VI's found at the following link to do multi-point calibration.

I hope this helps!

To perform a calibration make sure that you are using a source that is much more accurate than the DMM.  NI recommends using the Fluke 5500 or 5700.  You can refer to the manual calibration procedure if you want to manually calibrate your DMM.  It can be found here under the Manual Calibration link:  http://www.ni.com/calibration
