correlated and static digital read

Hello,

I am using a CDAQ chassis 9172 with a 9423 module and a 9425 module.

Can I make correlated measurements with the 9423 AND static reading with the 9425 at the same time?

I am thinking of creating 2 separate tasks for this.  One task for the corellated measurements and one for the static.  Would this work?

Absolutely.  With the cDAQ-9172 you can have 1 correlated digital input task, 1 correlated digital output task, and any number of static digital tasks running at the same time.

On the cDAQ-9172 the modules in the correlated digital tasks need to be in slots 1-4.  There is no slot restriction on static digital tasks.

Just as heads up, the NI 9425 can currently *only* do static input, but that looks like what you want.
