I need to measure the duration of pulses in a 10 kHz digital single with varying duty cycle. Duty cycle will range from 1%-99% (1 usec - 99usec). I will be doing this measurement on 6 channels on a cRIO 9086. I am having a difficult time determining if a 9401 will work for me.
The documentation states that the 9401 can measure at 100ns, but has a input rise time of 500 ns and propagation delay of 100 ns. So, can I really measure a 1 usec pulse, if half of the signals time is consumed in rising?
