PC-DIO-96 Interface search; Bulkhead-mount, cables, connectors

I am looking for the following hardware to interface my PC-DIO-96 to my test fixture PWB...

**First off, my current configuration is:

 PC-DIO-96-->Amphenol Cable(not sure of part #)--->AMPLIMITE 787169-9 (Surface mount, right angle)

I fear this setup is putting undo stress on the surface mount 100-pin connector and would like to modify it by acquiring:

--A bulkhead-mount adapter with the 'outer' end having the same physical interface as the 787169-9 and the 'inner' end having an interface that would lend itself to a ribbon cable (or similar)

--A ribbon (or other) cable to interface with aforementioned bulkhead as well as a surface mount connector

--A surface mount connector to interface with aforementioned ribbon cable

This setup would put all of the cable strain on the bulkhead-mounted connector as opposed to the PCB edge-mounted connector.

Hi Nate,

I cannot say what would be the best bulkhead-mount adapter would be since it is for your amplimite equipment, but I did find this as a possible solution for bringing the PCI-DIO-96 hardware to a ribbon cable form.
