PC-DIO 24 PnP Error Code 10401

I am using a PCI-DIO-24PnP board on a Windows NT system. Although the MAX detects the device, I get the message error 10401 (i.e. Unknown Device Error- The specifies device is not an NI product, (...) or the device has not been configured using MAX) when I run the test panel. How can a device be unknown when obviously all drivers are properly installed?
Thanks for advice!

I'm getting the same message with a PCI-6503(equivalent to
the DIO-24). Did you find an answer? The test panel recognizes and operates the board. I let you know if I work it out.

Dear Isabell,

which WinNT do you have? 4.0 with SP6?
Looks like as there happened a bad installation. Have you tried to reinstall the DAQ driver? Also recommend to update to NI DAQ 6.9.3 in case you haven't it already.

Have a great day.

Yes, i am usin NT4, SP6. The good news is that in the meantime I solved the problem. The error was due to a wrong NIDAQ version. Now I use 6.9.3 as you recommed.
