I have an old protocol suggesting the use of a PCI630 card; there seems to be no record of it online, and it's likely it's been out of production for some time.
I was wondering if I could find out any information (specs, etc), or a comparable NI card. We have NIDAQ-compatible software that captures a particular signal, and I want to be able to drive output to a peripheral device (switching it on and off), so it should be a fairly basic setup - just want to make sure it's possible with a particular card, since I don't have a strong background in this area.

Howdy colchiques!
I was not able to find any record of the existence of a PCI-630 device from National Instruments. A google search for PCI630 turns up this device from Snapgear.
Did you perhaps mean the NI PCI-6230?
