mp3 data acquisition

Hi,

I have just started working on labview. The assignment which i am working on is to acquire data from a MP3 file. I have worked on WAV fille and it can be easily read by  Sound_read.vi. In which it is calling a lvsound2.dll. Isn't it possible to acquire the data from a MP3 file and make changes to it or atleast get the frames of the mp3 file?

Hello Mahfooz,

I am not sure whether your question is in the right forum. If it would be DIAdem, then you would simply load the audio dataplugin from ni.com/dataplugins and you would be able to load the MP3 file right away.
