diadem + opc

There is a problem to establish a connecting between
Diadem DAC VBScript and the NI Data Socket Server.
The connection to the NI OPCDemo works.

It would be very helpful if you could provide us with some additional information. By "DIAdem DAC VBScript" I assume you mean a DIAdem DAC block diagram-- you're not really running a VBScript as part of your data acquisition are you?

Also, how does the NI Data Socket Server interact with the DIAdem DAC block diagram-- do you want the DAC program to send data over Data Socket, or do you want an external program (LabVIEW?) to send data over Data Socket to DIAdem DAC?

How does what you want to achieve differ from the NI OPCDemo?

Hello Brad,
the generell problem is to establish a connection via
activeX while the DAC block diagramm is running.
Because some operation system functions are blocked when DAC is running.
With VBScript I mean a VBScript Block in the DAC Block
diagramm. The Data Socket Server should interact with the scipt DAC Block, with data flow in both directions.
An external CVI Applikation should send/receive data over Data Socket to DIAdem DAC.
