convert float to date

Hi all,

I want to display a formatted date/time on a report with two common text fields. Therefore I read out the min and max from a time channel. But all I get is this float64 coded time. I didn't find any method to convert this to a date object which I can format. Is there a possibility to get the two values as a VBScript Date object? Or which procedure do I have to follow to convert this to a date/time which is human readable?

Thanks in advance,

Alex.

Hi Alex,

The basic date/time format in DIAdem starts in the year 01/01/0000 in steps of 1 second. In dialogs or tables this will be converted in a readable date/time format automatically. If you would like to work with a date/time value it is sometimes necessary to do this converting by your own. For this DIAdem provides the commands:

TTR : Converts time format text into the number of seconds since 01/01/0000.

and

RTT : Converts a positive number into time format.

Please refer to the DIAdem help for detailed information’s.

Greetings

Walter
