Wrap legend text

Can you tell me how to wrap text in a graph legend when using curve-related text or, alternatively, how to insert carriage return and line feed characters into the text?

Hi Simon,

Give the following a try:

1. Double-click on the legend on your report.
2. Choose the Text Parameters tab.
   
   
   
3. Enable the Font Size checkbox and select a font size.
4. Enable the Truncate Text checkbox.
5. Enable the Wordwrap checkbox.

That should get you the result you're looking for - for example:

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I don't recognise the image of the Legend dialogue box so I assume we have different versions of DIAdem. Although I can't see an explicit version number in Help, About, it does say 9.10.2036 which I assume is at least version 9.

I suspect this means I don't have access to a direct word wrap facility but may have to use an alternative way around the problem.

Hi Simon,

You are correct.  DIAdem 9.1 did not support legend word wrapping.  We are now up to DIAdem 2010, which is actually 11.2.  There have been many MANY new features and performance and usability enhancements over the last 6 years.  I would be happy to send you Word documents outlining what you're missing...
