Loading data with DIAdem DataFinder

Hi,

If I do a "channel" search in DIAdem's DataFinder, such as "Channel Name = Channel*" I get a list of results.  I can load these channels by selecting the rows and right-clicking and choosing "load" or by dragging and dropping these channels into the data portal.  When these channels load (by either method), they are all placed in a group that has the name of the first channel selected.  My question: is there a way to change the default loading method (right-click "load" or drag-and-drop)?  I would like to place each channel loaded into a group named by it's original name or by the file name.  I think I could create a new right-click shortcut menu item that might do this also, but I haven't tried it yet.  I would prefer if the "load" option was configurable.

Hi Julia,

The below custom context menu is overkill for what you asked for, but all the tricks you need are in there.  There are also a variety of ways one could make the custom loading process be configurable.
