Getting Started-Fully functioning?

I have just installed DIAdem and am using it for the first time. I have been following the Getting Started.pdf but I don't think it is fully functioning (I can't tell since I've never used it before).

Displaying curves and data tables is ok. But:

Screen partitioning does not work.
Most screen display functions do not work, eg display type (changing 2D axis system/Channel Table), curve cursor, zooming and display co-ordinates do not seem to operate.

I'm following the tutorial and using the example files provided and most other functions seem fine. Am missing something here?

Hello remster,

maybe you are not able to execute VBScripts. Using Windows XP with actual service packs this could be a problem due to strict firewall settings. The module VIEW makes use of VBS - and DIAdem 9.1 is executing the code in a context that some firewalls or virus scanner assume as dangerous and block.

This issue is known and was solved with the service pack 2, which can be downloaded here free of charge.
Mind that its a complete DIAdem installer. You will have to deinstall your current version of DIadem before. But then, you can use the SP2 installation in an evaluation mode as well.
