DIAdem freezes on Startup

Hi there, 

I have a problem on our test PC. DIAdem 2011 stucks on startup window and no further action.

I tried another version (DIAdem 2014 / 2015), they just run without any issue. Problem is that we only have license for 2011 on that PC... Also tried uninstalling DIAdem 2011 and then install it again, but the problem remains. Strange is that, if i run DIAdem with another windows user account, it also runs without problem.

Maybe someone has had the same problem before?

DIAdem 2011 ist eine sehr alte Version, die dementsprechend auch nur für die damaligen Windows-Versionen freigegeben ist. Diese wären laut Release Notes folgende:

• Windows XP Pro 32 Bit ab Service Pack 3

• Windows Vista 32 Bit mit Service Pack 2

• Windows Vista 64 Bit mit Service Pack 2 (als 32-Bit-Applikation)

• Windows 7 32 Bit

• Windows 7 64 Bit (als 32-Bit-Applikation)

• Windows Server 2003 R2 32 Bit

• Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit (als 32-Bit-Applikation)

wurde DIAdem 2011 frisch auf dem System installiert oder war es bereits erfolgreich gelaufen?

Wenn DIAdem bereits gelaufen war, könnten bestimmte vorgenommene Einstellungen zu einem Problem führen. Versuchen Sie das Anwenderverzeichnis (C:\Users\<Benutzername>\AppData\Local\National Instruments\DIAdem\2023) umzubenennen, so dass DIAdem mit der ausgelieferten Desktop.ddd-Datei (hoffentlich) startet. In dem Anwenderverzeichins könnten sie zusätzlich nachschauen, ob es Logfiles (DEM_ERRS.00x)  gibt, die Fehlermeldungen enthalten, welche dann vielleicht helfen, die Ursache zu finden.

Ich habe die .DDD Datei von dem anderen Benutzer kopiert und angepasst, und dann funktioniert DIAdem problemlos.
