Cant start DIAdem 2012 SP1- Could not initialize USI

I've just installed DIAdem 2012 SP1 on my machine and I get the error "Could not initialize USI" every time I try to run the program.

Could this be that I need admin rights to run the program for the first time?

Any help would be appreciated; thanks!

DIAdem needs ADMIN rights to be installed.

The first start of DIAdem is also done inside the installer.

After installation a real restart is necessary.

So if you are using Windows 10 you have to make it restart.

• What OS are you using
• Did you restart
