Can DIAdem call LabVIEW NXG

Looking to see if DIAdem can call LabVIEW  NXG code?

Or when it will be able to do this?

Hi Paul,

LabVIEW and DIAdem serve different purposes, so it depends on what you're aiming to accomplish. Many of the things LabVIEW (NXG or otherwise) can do just aren't what DIAdem is meant to do. You might be able to write a VBScript program that interfaces with external programs like LabVIEW NXG, but it might not integrate seamlessly due to the differences between the programs.

It is normal and powerful for labview in all other versions than NXG, to be able to interact with DIAdem.  I thought that NXG would also be supported, or at least to do so was on the development plan, at some point.

Your comment leads me to conclude that interaction between NXG and DIAdem is not on the development plan.

Is this conclusion correct?

I'm not a part of the development team so I can't speak towards what the development plan looks like. What I can tell you that LabVIEW VIs and NXG GVIs are different enough that the current API (VI.Run, VI.SetControlValue, etc) will not currently work.
