Announcing DIAdem 2018 SP1, DataFinder Server 2018 SP1, and Analysis Server 2018 SP1

DIAdem 2018 SP1, DataFinder Server 2018 SP1, and Analysis Server 2018 SP1 is out now and available for download.

DIAdem 2018 SP1 focused on bug fixes. A detailed list of the changes made can be found in the DIAdem 2018 SP1 Release Notes found on the DIAdem 2018 SP1 download. New features have been added to DataFinder Server 2018 SP1 and Analysis Server 2018 SP1 to further enhance their data management and analysis capabilities. These include:

DataFinder Web Client Channel Preview (DataFinder Server)

You can now query DataFinder for files and preview the measurement data within them in order to select the files they need to download. This is similar to the channel preview in DIAdem NAVIGATOR. This functionality helps you select the files they need to download.

Improved DataFinder Server and Analysis Server Integration with SystemLink

Upload/Download Files to the SystemLink File Ingestion Service from Within an Analysis Server Procedure (Analysis Server)

This functionality can be used to store outputs of Analysis Server procedures in a central location or bring in additional files needed for processing. This helps you centralize their data storage in the SystemLink File Viewer.

Write to Tags from Analysis Server Procedures

Example use cases would be setting a flag that the Analysis Server is running and display it as an indicator on a SystemLink Dashboard you created. You could also do more complex things like publish the latest pass/fail metadata as a tag.
