Solved!
Go to solution

Hello,

I want to know if i can manage the communication between DasyLab & CANopen or EtherCAT hardware ?

I want to use : Servo Drive, AC drive AxN, http://www.phase.eu/axn/

or Servo Motors With Electronics, http://www.phase.eu/servo-motors-with-electronics/

If yes, with what hardware & how under DasyLab ?

Good day, Thank you.

No, this is not possible using DASYLab

CANopen is a higher-level protocol that uses the “normal” CAN as transport protocol (similar: HTML (high) vs TCP (low)).

In the DASYLab CAN modules we can only address specific parts of a CAN telegram directly, we cannot (re-)combine information across several telegrams.

EtherCAT. No direct interface available, perhaps via OPC server. We have no experience combining DASYLab with Beckhoff/EtherCAT hardware.

Measurement Computing (MCC) has free technical support. Visit www.mccdaq.com and click on the "Support" tab for all support options, including DASYLab.
