DASYLab's VITool can be used to design a Layout. Layouts can be formatted for the screen (to be used as a virtual instrument) or paper (for a printed report).
You can incorporate any display instruments, including meters, list, bar graph and the charts, onto the Layout. In addition, you can add other information, such as graphics, bitmaps, or company logos, to make the report more professional.
DASYLab is not like a database program, where the report layout is an expandable form. The VITool Layout is one page. If the data overflows the page, such as with a List Display, it will not print.
There are various ways to print the Report. Use the menu commands, or, set up an Action to print the report, or save it to a jpeg file, based on user i
nput, time, or data event.
