Cycle/Loop Set up For DasyLab 2016

Hello, new to this forum. Hope to get some helps here.

Current system:

• Software: DasyLab 2016
• Hardware: Omega 2416

I am currently trying to set up a system using Digital Output function and a On/Off switch. 

Here is what I am trying to achieve:

• Automatically cycle On/Off at given cycles (i.e. set for 10 cycles and the switch should automatically be On/Off 10 times
• Able to read how many cycles it has turned On/Off (i.e if the program has been turned on/off 10 times, a digital display should show "10".)

Any suggestion on which functions I can use to achieve this task is helpful. If you need more information or clarification, please let me know.

There are two good ways to do this -- Use the State Machine in DASYLab Full or the Sequence Generator in DASYLab Pro. 

The Statistics--Counter module allows you to count edges and the Action module allows you to control other parts of the worksheet when it detects the defined event -- for example, reset the Counter module when you're done.
