PC clock error

My computer running on Windows ME is experiencing clock drift when the computer is on.  When you restart the computer it goes back the correct time.  The problem is my tests involve a 60 minute run during which time drift accumulates enough to throw off my AO updates.  I want to know a way to improve the accuracy of my software clock...maybe more regularly resyncing with hardware clock or another reference.

BME,

Thank you for posting on the NI Forums. I was able to look around on the MSDN forums and found this link about loosing time with the system clock.  It gives some potential solutions but it appears it is a problem known to exist with Windows 95/98 and ME. If you could try those solutions and let me know if any of those help you. Also, if you could describe your program and what it does in more details there could be other options to fix the problem by using hardware timing on your DAQ board.
