Dear Engineers,
I am currently using the NI 782258-01 and USB-6363 models in my laboratory.
The pulses I wish to count have an amplitude of approximately -200 mV, which appears to be below the detectable range of the default Pulse Counting settings. According to the specifications, the devices can detect analog signals down to 0.1V. When I attempted to use the ci_count_edge_thresh_voltage
command, I received an error indicating that this command is not supported by these devices.
I would prefer to use the pulse counting mode without the need for an inverting amplifier if possible. Is there a way to achieve this?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Unfortunately, you cannot use analog channels in counter tasks. NI DAQ only supports 5V TTL signal. The DIO and counters can't capture non-TTL signals without any external circuits.

Does this mean that with the equipment I have, it is not possible to read -200mV pulses on the counting channel?
