I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Bay Area LabVIEW User Group meeting. We're going to have Sergio Velderrain from NI talking about the initiative to open source some parts of LabVIEW, and Paul Cardinale providing info on custom right-click utilities to make the IDE work for you. Should be really interesting!

Please register so we can have an accurate head count for food, and so that you can earn points towards NI recertifications!

Nice to see everyone at last nights BALUG meeting!

Thanks to Paul Cardinale for showing off some really cool right-click menu options he has created, thanks to Sergio Velderrain for going over how NI is working to make portions of LabVIEW open source, and thanks to Taylor Blackford for bringing the food and drinks.

Mark your calendars for our next meeting on May 13th!

Great turnout for the BALUG and some exciting presentations. For those who wanted it, here's a link to code Paul was demoing:

Thanks Casey, Dan, Taylor and others for organizing the events. It's really encouraging to see the attendance growing and to see NI reinvesting in local sales reps, as well as the open source initiative. And of course it was fun to see Paul's creativity with his right-click plugins!
