Do extended temperature range PCMCIA CAN adapter cards exist?

We need a PCMCIA CAN adapter card for a ruggedized PC application.  The PC needs to survive to -55 degrees C storage and -40C operation. 

Has anyone seen a PCMCIA CAN adapter than would survive these conditions?  We plan on testing a commercially available card to these limits, but we don't expect success with the available units.

Hi,

I doubt you will find a PCMCIA card with operating temperature range down to -40 degC. Right now i only know our cRIO C-Series CAN device which is spec'd down to -40  for operating mode but i have to check the -55 degC for storage.

I checked with the hardware test department and they are very confident, that a CAN C-Series module can stand the -55 degC storage temperature. It seems we are testing against -60 degC, however we spec only 40 degC and if you think it is worth a try please check with your local NI office to request additional confirmation for your needs.
