Hello all

I am wondering how to realize wireless programming.Must I use the NI myRIO?Or can I use the single board myRIO and wireless modules?

Hey Pop,

We unfortunately can't test every wireless module availble on the market but there are drivers to get usb Ethernet devices to work so it is possible that a device may work out of the box. Brad Mouring just posted a presenation about how to get 3rd party devices to work in NI Linux RT so that could provide some more info on how to do it yourself but we haven't tested any to guarantee their functionality. If you do want wifi I suggest you go with the integrated version as you can switch from connecting to a access point to being a access point which will offer more functionality than most usb wifi adapters.
