Hi There,
I am a university student on my final year of my BENG elecronics degree. For my project I am proposing to use Labeled with the mydaq USB hardware to ceate aan audio analyzer (Level/THD+N/Freq response).

Can anyone see any Fundamental complications that I may have missed on reviewing the data sheets I have found on-line? before I submit my proposal.
Depending on above Is Studica.com a reliable source to buy from (Link above)
Many thanks in advance
Regards
Ritchie

Hi Ritchie,
In answer to your second question about Studica.com, studica is our academic seller for NI my-DAQ devices, and are directly linked on ni.com.
For your project are you directly inputting an audio signal into the my-DAQ through the audio jack? If you require common audio analysis like Level and FFT then a my-DAQ device would be suitable for your application.
Im guessing when you said Labeled in your post you meant LabVIEW? LabVIEW has many audio analysis vi's which you can use to display on time domain and frequency domain graphs.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes it should have said "Labview" it was my poor typing.
I intend to go in and out the Audio jack but I shall build a simple PCBA to balance/de-balance the audio lines to eliminate unbalanced noise issues.
I am very pleased that you agree that the my DAQ is up for the job as it's sits in an achievable price bracket.
I have just completed Core 1 and core 2 so should hopefully have an easier time ic creating my labview code
