I am trying use a Webcam through the MyRIO and when I deploy my VI this is the error I get:
Image2.viNI_Vision_Aquisition_Software.lvlib:IMAQdx Get Image2.vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed.
LabVIEW: (Hex 0x627) The function name for the niimaqdx.dll:
LV_IMAQdxGetImage2:C node cannot be found in the library. To correct this error, right-click the Call LIbrary Fuction Node and select COnfigure from the shortcut menu. Then choose the correct function name. Deployment completed with errors.
I have tried to follow the instructions given but everything seems to be there. Do you have any advice? I am using Labview 2013 SP1 and MyRIO software version 13.1-February 2014.
Thank you.

Hi cristalei,
There seems to be a problem with the software installed on the myRIO device. Did you have the camera connected when taking the screenshot? I don’t see the camera detected under Devices and Interfaces of the myRIO.
I also noticed that IMAQdx 4.3 is not fully compatible with LV 2013 SP1. Can you try to update to the newest version of the drivers? They are definitely compatible with LV 2013 SP1. After this reinstall the IMAQdx support on your myRIO.

I have installled NI Vision Aquisition February 2016. I have attached the picture of Ni Max with the new installation. Now I can see the camera in MyRIO, but when I run the VI I get this error in the second image (attached). Do you have any advice on how to fix this error?
Thanks,
Cristalei

It is good that you can see the camera from NI MAX now. I see that you still have NI-IMAQdx 4.3 on the myRIO. VAS February 2016 should have installed IMAQdx 15.5 on your computer. Have you already reinstalled the software on your myRIO to refresh IMAQdx to the same version your computer has?

Ok. I do not know what I am doing wrong at this point because I have installed the updated version onto my computer but my MyRIO device is not seeing the new driver despite the fact that I uninstalled the old version of IMAQdx. You are still seeing the old version of IMAQdx under software on MyRIO in the image because I reinstalled the software hoping the new version would install, but it did not. Do you have any advice?

Hi Cristalei,
The process of installing software on your computer is different from installing software on your myRIO. The myRIO is an independent embedded system that has its own software. You can follow the steps from 9 to 14 on this document to install software on your myRIO. On the second image of step 10 pay attention to make sure that all the Vision features and its subcomponents are included on the installation.

Hello,
I am currently working on the same project as Cristalei was back in 2016. Unfortunately we are still dealing with the same problem. When I went to update NI Vision RT from 4.3.0.3.0 to 15.5.0, we got the following error "NI-IMAQdx RT Common 15.5.0 requires Base System 11.0". We are still operating on LabVIEW 2013 sp1, is it possible to upgrade to base system 11.0. If so how do we upgrade it?
Thanks,
Brian S.

Hi Brian,
You get that error when updating the Vision RT software on the MyRIO? Can you attach a screenshot of the windows that shows the different components you are trying to install to the RT target as well as a screenshot of the error?

Yes, we get the error when trying to update the Vision RT software on the MyRIO. Here are the screenshots of the error and components we are trying to install.
