How to install Drivers

we hv labview academic kit ... and  bought an instrument , with which thy provided lab view drivers.
can any one help me how to install thm and run thm , all these files are in .vi format....

It is not clear what you have tried so far. What kind of "instrument" did you get?

A .vi file is a labview program, so first you need to install LabVIEW. Have you done that already?

thanks for the reply.
i hv got a motorised inverted microscope stage from the company Prior.
thy had sent me a bunch of files (.vi) saying those are the drivers to run the stage thru labview.
i even have labview academic kit 8.0
i hv put those files on my desk top.
among which thr is a main VI that calls many sub VIs.....

There is no real installation required for a LabVIEW driver. You can use the VIs in whichever folder you place them though if you want the functions to automatically show up on your palette, there are certain folders they should be moved to. If the functions in the driver call a dll, then that may need to in a specific location or you update the path in the VIs. Are you having a problem? If so, what exactly is it?
