DAQ, Hardware

I am still learning LabVIEW 8.0. However, most of the hardware we use in the school's lab like signal generator, are quite expensive.

Are there any small or afordable hardware I can obtain, so that I can learn Data Aquisition on my on computer at home.

Hi,

NI definitely has some low cost options that you could get started with.  For instance, the low cost USB DAQ modules are a great place to get started with software timed Analog Input, Analog Ouput and Digital I/O.

If you need hardware timed Analog I/O and Digital I/O (for applications that require higher sample rates), than there are PCI options such as the PCI-6221, as well as USB options such as the USB-6211.

Let me know if you have questions on these modules, and best of luck on your data acquisition.

Have a great day!
