Hi guys
I'm trying to run myRio-1900 as an access point but I don't have the option of "Create a wireless network" in its configuration. I installed NI-RIO 13.1. What could I have done wrong? Did I install something incorrectly?

Hey John,
Have you went through the steps outlined in this reference paper and are not seeing the option to configure a wireless network anywhere in NI MAX or in the web interface?

Also, have you installed the myRIO toolkit, shown here?

I installed the software suite that came in the CD and NI RIO 13.1.1. But I didn't get "Create Wireless Network" option in NI MAX.
Downloading this toolkit now. Hope it works. Thanks for the tip

Here is where the option to create a wireless network shows up in MAX. Do you have the Wireless Adapter wlan0 box under the Network Settings tab? I have outlined where these options in the attached screenshot.

Thanks HizNI!
The toolkit updated the firmware on myRIO and I finally got the option to create a wireless network.

Hi, after I update the firmware to 3.0.0f0 with the UNI Lab computer, there is no option for "Create wireless network" but only got "connect to wireless network". I do believe the pc got all the necessary toolkit and driver, and before update it works fine with the previouse version. Please advice if there is any possible solution. Thanks.

Hi 8orio8,
This post is somewhat old, I think you will get better or faster response if you make a new post. When you do, please mention the compactRIO driver and MAX version.
