Connecting 2 USRP to one host PC / one for RX and one for TX

I'm very new to USRP... and I'm using Gnuradio to get some data.

Is it possible to connect two USRP to one host PC??

"one USRP for RX and one for TX?"

I'm using USRP-2943, and also have N210.

I've tried sending and receiving signals with two USRP connected with one host PC,

but RX USRP does not receive the signal from the TX USRP.

the RX does receive the other signals when I set the frequency to 2.412GHz or other (802.11/WIFI), which I think the connections are fine.

Do I need to use a different host PC for RX and TX USRP???

Hi Alex,

first of all, you need to set different IP addresses for those two USRP. then you can connect those USRPs and your host PC through GB network switch, or if your host PC has more than one network interfaces directly each USRP to one of those NIC. BTW, you can connect more than one USRP to only one host PC similar way by setting different IP address for each USRP.

basically you do not need different host PC for two TX/RX USRP.

second you need to set same carrier frequency for both TX and RX USRP. Try to check all configuration and make sure similar/appropriate parameters setting for both TX/RX USRP.

you can share your TX and RX configuration here for more investigation.

Also do not forget to check RF antenna side configuration and connection.
