I have to power up a PXI express chassis PXIe1078 without toggling the Swtich in front of the chassis, can anybody give me some suggestion to realize it?
From page 2-12 of 1078 User Manual, the switch 1of the four-postion DIP swich controls the chassis inhibit mode, but why doesn't the manual tell us the funtion of other three swtiches?
Are there any setting methods in PXIe 1078 itself? If not Can I modified the chassis and remove the front swich?
we use a separate PC and controlling PXIe 1078 via an MXI express cable . I wish some people can help me, thank you a lot!

If you use the x8 MXI kit (PXIe/PCIe-8381) then turning on the PC will turn on the chassis. Depending on what MXI kit you're using you may also be able to configure it to behave the same way:

Have you looked at the link I posted? The program attached to it (NIPXIRemoteConfig.exe) will let you configure your PXIe-8360 to power up when you power on the PC.
