Hi all
System Description: I am using the PXI-8186 embedded controller on a PXI-1042 chassis.I have a few modules installed, out of which the PXI-7831R reconfigurable i/o is the module which i use for my application.I configure the i/o's to be used as analog in and out (also digital i/o), using the FPGA module.
Problem description: Now, i am basically creating a VI on the fpga (on pxi), and another VI which calls this fpga VI on my system (host PC). I am doing this as the FPGA does not support floating point. The problem now is, the sampling time of the input analog signal is being limited by my PC.
I am not able to use the 40Mhz sampling frequency of the PXI.
To summarize my issue, can someone help me out in running the "host VI" on the 8186 embedded controller to use its capability.
I request the community members to share their opinions and help me out of the issue.
Thanks in advance
Vijay Chand Ganti.

hi
use data manipulation and type cast in your fpga it will work tc
