more than 8 DIO on SCB 68

Hello,

we' ve got PXI 6254 M with a SCB 68.
The problem is that the SCB 68 only has the possibility to connect 8 DIO. So I can connect 16 DIOs with the 2 SCB 68 on the PXI 6254 M. But the PXI 6254 M has 48 DIO. How can I use them.
Thank you very much.

Hello Mark,
The SCB-68 breaks out all 68 pins of the 68 pin connector of your NI 6254.  If you have one SCB-68 on each 68 pin connector, then you do have access to all the digital lines of your device, 24 digital lines on each SCB-68.  So, looking at the pinout of your device, you can see the digital line P0.0 is pin 52 and P1.0 is pin 11 of the SCB-68 on the first connector.  On the second connector, P0.30 is pin 1, etc.

Mark:

The screw terminal numbers have a one to one correspondence with the pin numbers of the 68 pin connectors on the DAQ card.
