analog input DAQ6020E (BNC)

hi,
I am trying to measure a voltage signal that is between 30-40V with a DAQ 6020 E(BNC) device. What is the maximum voltage that i can safely measure at the analog input channels? I think table 4-1 on the DAQ 6020  E (BNC) manual says the voltage limit is 35V on and 25V off. Is that correct?  What if my signal is bigger than 35 V?

You need to read the specs a bit more carefully. They clearly state that the +/-35 and +/25 are the overvoltage protection. The input signal range is +/-10V.

poli,

If you are worried about your voltage level then you can use our Signal Conditioning hardware to address this concern.

Signal Conditioning

NI SCXI-1104 : This module is part of our SCXI series.  It will require a chassis and connector block.

NI 9229 : This module is part of the CompactDAQ line, it will come with a USB connection sleeve.

If you go to ni.com/ask, you can contact NI Engineers to help configure a system for your application.

I hope this helps!
