USB-6212 Not Installing Correctly

I have a USB-6212 DAQ unit with DAQmx 8.6.1 and it will not install. It is shown in the Windows Device Manager under Data Acquistion Devices and is called a USB-621x Loader. The kb that describes starting a service does not apply because that service is running on the computer that the install is not working. What is the problem?

LabTech,

Thank you for posting on the NI Forums. Are you using LabVIEW 8.6.1 or the DAQmx driver 8.6.1? Did you install the driver after you had LabVIEW or other programming language installed? It is necessary to install the driver after the programming environment. If you have already done this you might try and upgrade to the latest version of the DAQmx driver 8.9, which will work for LabVIEW 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, and 8.6. The link to that driver is listed below. You also mentioned a KB that describes starting the service could you provide me that link?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I am having both Labview(version-8.6.1) as well as NI DAQmx(version-9.5) and both are compatible with each other. But when I configure them and try to control the compressor(from DENSO) there is a error that there are some information which are missing either you increase your read time out or acquire all information and then run. For support point of view I need port details of DAQmx-6212. and their descriptions.

Thanks

Hi Snarayan,

It looks like you are responding to an old thread, which makes it harder for other users to find this post and help out. I would recommend creating a new post for your specific issue, so you can get the best responses from the community.

It would also help to provide as much detail as you can to the issue you are having. How are you configuring "them" (what does your code look like)? What error are you seeing? What are you trying to accomplish (what is your application)? What specific to the USB-6212 ports do you want more information on?

With more information from you, our community will have more context to best help you.
