Hi!

How many NI USB-6218 devices can I connect to PC (Win7 64)?

I need 6 devices in the system, but I see 3 devices only in Device Manager,

Hi Sugar700,

The theoretical answer to your question is 127 USB devices. However, the practical answer to your question depends on several factors, like how many internal devices on your computer are connected via USB, and how much bus power you have available. You might find some of these resources helpful:

Also helpful might be page 36 of the user manual: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/371931f.pdf Knowing what the PWR/ACT light is doing would help determine what is going on.

6 DAQs is no problem.

I have a system here with over 20 DAQ's (6008's) connected to it.

Check your power management settings, and how each device is getting powered.

Also check Device Manager to see if the computer has issues enumerating the additional DAQs.

But I bet your issue is USB current.
